400 BED HOSPITAL LOCATED SOUTH OF RICHMOND, VA - DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY
Hospital Bed facility located south of Richmond, VA has a need for a Director of Pharmacy. 

Under the direction of the CEO, the Director of Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the direction, supervision and coordination of all pharmacy services for the hospital. Ensures department compliance in accordance with established corporate, hospital and department policies and procedures. Responsible for overseeing pharmacy services including, but not limited to, inpatient services, outpatient pharmacy and other clinical programs. Continually looks for cost-savings and clinical opportunities as it relates to drug usage. Coordinates all performance improvement activities including, but not limited to, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reviews, medication usage evaluation (MUE), quarterly performance improvement monitoring, etc. Responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with medical staff and other clinical and support departments to ensure the smooth operation of pharmacy services.  Day shift, no weekends or nights.  

Education:
Graduate from College of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Degree B.S , PharmD.

Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience in acute care hospital pharmacy, preferably as director of Pharmacy or equivalent experience as Assistant Director of Pharmacy with progressive management responsibilities.

Licenses/Certificates:
Current Licensure or reciprocation as Registered Pharmacist in Virginia.  Outstanding pay and benefits.  Salary six figures, plus bonus!  Be apart of this financially sound, growing company!
