Job Summary:

• This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper processing of drug orders, maintaining appropriate records and inventory level.

• Providing advice to nursing, professional medical and allied medical staff and assisting the Pharmacy Director in supervising Pharmacy Technicians.

• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients assigned.

• Schedule typically Monday through Friday until 7:00 with weekends on-call as needed.

Education/Licensure Required:

• Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college and must be licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy to practice in Tennessee.
