CLINICAL ACCOUNT PHARMACIST
Anthem Prescription Management (APM), a full service provider of prescription benefits for the managed care market and an affiliate of Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, is offering an excellent opportunity to use your pharmacy expertise as a Clinical Account Pharmacist (CAP) for our New Hampshire market.

The CAP is responsible for building key relationship with physicians—gathering information for detailed analyses and recommending to physicians ways to adjust prescribing in order to improve outcomes, reduce costs, improve quality and manage financial risk.  Also assist other APM staff on drug information questions, clinical initiatives, benefit design and interpretation, claims processing issues and sales support.

Requires BSPh, PharmD preferred, and a current license to practice pharmacy in NH.  Should possess at least 3 years of retail pharmacy or managed care pharmacy experience and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to travel 50-60%, including some overnight travel.

CLINICAL PHARMACIST
Anthem Prescription Management (APM), a full service provider of prescription benefits for the managed care market and an affiliate of Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, is offering an excellent opportunity to use your pharmacy expertise as a Clinical Pharmacist based from our Manchester, New Hampshire, office.

In this unique role the pharmacist will utilize both clinical and business acumen to coordinate initiatives between the Anthem Health Plans and the Pharmacy services.  The Clinical Pharmacist will support the accreditation needs for Anthem East and Anthem West as related to NCQA/URAC and Disease Management/Quality Improvement needs and will coordinate Clinical Services support of the Quality Improvement initiatives for Anthem East/West as related to Pharmacy.  Requires regional travel and travel to Anthem West (Denver) and to APM in Mason, Ohio, for training and strategic meetings.

Requires BSPh, PharmD preferred, and a current license to practice pharmacy.  Should possess at least 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience or at least 5 years of related pharmacy experience and have excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic PC skills.
