PHARMACY BENEFIT CONSULTANT

Responsibilities include:  Cultivate pharmacy business through direct and indirect interaction with customers, consultants and brokers. Support final presentations, renewal meetings and general education sessions.  Work closely with market segments to increase understanding of APM products and programs, develop profitable pharmacy membership and improve brand recognition. Proactive in developing business opportunities and building the appropriate relationships both internally and externally to ensure success.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional in the healthcare industry with a proven track record of success. Experience in selling healthcare insurance to plan sponsors is desired.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, high energy individual with an extensive background in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) sales or PBM account management. Demonstrated strong negotiating and consultative selling skills. Candidate has a strong work ethic and sense of integrity. Has the ability to travel and meet changing priorities.

MANAGED CARE PHARMACIST

This position is responsible for ensuring implementation of the Alliance Formulary; utilizing applicable policies, including authorization and advisement on claims issues; performs pharmacy utilization review and develops cost-effective pharmacy measures; and, provides liaison with the pharmaceutical and medical communities relative to prescription of medications.
