VICE PRESIDENT OF PHARMACY
For a Privately Held Midwestern Drug Chain - Eastern Iowa Location

Our client, a very successful independent drug store chain of thirteen pharmacies in eastern Iowa, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated leader to join their growing team as the Vice President of Pharmacy.

In this role, you will direct all aspects of pharmacy operations, including managing and mentoring pharmacist professionals, developing and enforcing policies and procedures that support the company’s overall strategy and utilization of technology to optimize revenue streams. You will also negotiate contracts with third party reimbursement organizations, budgeting, P&L interpretation and ensure compliance with internal policy, governmental agencies and/or statutes impacting the business or practice of pharmacy. BS or PharmD degree, eight to ten years of pharmacy experience, including five years of leadership in pharmacy operations along with organizational skill and attention to detail, are a must.
